Getting Started
Overview
EntraFX gives you two automated trading tools — the Entra Bot (algorithmic FVG strategy connected directly to MetaTrader 5) and the Advanced AI Bot (an AI-powered control centre with live market scanning, JARVIS assistant, and signal management). This guide walks you through setting up both, understanding the controls, and monitoring your results.

Tip
Where to find your Server name: Open MetaTrader 5 on your PC, go to File → Login to Trade Account. The server name is listed in the Server field — for example ICMarkets-Live01, Pepperstone-MT5, or XM-Real.
1
Enter your account number in the Login field
This is the numeric account ID shown in MetaTrader 5 — e.g. 12345678.
2
Enter your MT5 password
Use the Investor (read-only) password if you only want to view data, or the main password to allow trading.
3
Enter your broker server name
Copy it exactly as shown in your MT5 login screen — capitalisation matters.
4
Click Connect
The status pill will change from Disconnected to Connected and your account balance will appear.
Step 3 — Configure the Bot
Click the Bot Control tab at the top of the Entra Bot screen. Here you choose your strategy, symbols, risk settings, and auto-trade preference.

!
Auto-Trade places real orders. When this checkbox is ticked, the bot will execute live trades on your MT5 account. Disable Auto-Trade if you want to monitor signals only, without placing orders.
Step 4 — Start the Bot
1
Click "Start Bot"
The green button activates the EA. A pulsing indicator will appear confirming the bot is running and scanning every 60 seconds.
2
Check the System Log
The Overview tab shows a live System Log. Each scan, signal detected, and order placed will appear here in real time.
3
Force Scan (optional)
The bot scans automatically every 60 seconds. You can click Force Scan to trigger an immediate scan — useful if you've just changed symbols.
4
Stop the Bot anytime
Click Stop Bot to halt all scanning. Open positions already placed will remain on MT5 and follow their stop-loss / take-profit levels.
Tip
MT5 AutoTrading must be ON. If you see a warning that AutoTrading is disabled, open MetaTrader 5 and click the AutoTrading button in the toolbar (it turns blue when active). The bot cannot place orders if AutoTrading is off.

Once connected, the status pill turns Connected and your live balance, equity, and open positions populate automatically. The session stats block (Total Signals, Executed, Buys, Sells) will start filling in as the bot runs.
Step 3 — Explore the Three Tabs
1
Overview
Your MT5 account status, session stats, and a live System Log that records every scan, signal, and order placed — timestamped in real time.
2
Bot Control
Set your symbols, lot size, risk mode, and auto-trade preference. Hit Start Bot to activate. The bot scans every 60 seconds and places trades automatically when a valid setup is detected.
3
Trade History
Full log of every executed trade — symbol, direction, entry price, lot size, and P&L. Switch between Recent Trades and Open Positions using the tab bar inside this view.
Step 4 — Configure Bot Control
Click the Bot Control tab to configure what the bot trades and how it sizes positions.
Available Strategies
The Advanced AI Bot gives you five trading strategies to choose from. Select one from the dropdown at the top of the Bot Control tab.
Info
Start with FVG Breakout. If you're new to the Advanced AI Bot, the FVG Breakout strategy is the most thoroughly tested and works well across XAUUSD, EURUSD, and GBPUSD in most sessions.
Configure Symbols and Risk
SymbolsXAUUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD
Risk ModeFixed Lot or % of Balance
Lot Size0.01
Auto-TradeEnabled — places live MT5 orders
1
Add or remove symbols
Edit the Symbols field with comma-separated pairs — e.g. XAUUSD,EURUSD,GBPUSD,GBPJPY. The bot scans each one independently on every cycle.
2
Choose your risk mode
Fixed Lot uses the same size every trade. % of Balance calculates the lot automatically based on your equity — great for consistent risk as your account grows.
3
Enable Auto-Trade then click Start Bot
Tick the Auto-Trade checkbox to allow live order placement, then hit the green Start Bot button. A pulsing indicator confirms the bot is running.
4
Toggle Auto-Trade without stopping the bot
You can uncheck Auto-Trade mid-session to pause live execution (e.g. during high-impact news) while the bot continues scanning and logging signals. Re-check it when you're ready to resume trading.
5
Force Scan
Click Force Scan to trigger an immediate scan outside the 60-second cycle — useful after changing symbols or risk settings.
!
Auto-Trade places real orders. Disable it if you only want to observe signals without the bot executing on your live account.
Step 5 — Using JARVIS (AI Trading Assistant)
JARVIS is the three-panel AI intelligence hub. Access it from the Performance Screen — click the JARVIS toggle button in the screen header, or navigate to Elite Sidebar → Performance Screen → JARVIS. The panel has three columns:
Left — Chat
Type any trading question. JARVIS responds in real time. Suggestion chips below the input let you query instantly without typing.
Centre — Live Scanner
Real-time bias table: XAUUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPJPY and more. Bullish / Bearish / Neutral — updated every scan. Active signal cards appear below the table.
Right — News & Caps
Session-tagged economic events for today + a scrollable list of everything JARVIS can do — from trade analysis to market sentiment to risk management.
How to use the JARVIS Chat
1
Ask about any pair
Type "XAUUSD bias now?" or "London setup for EURUSD?" — JARVIS breaks down market structure, key levels, session bias, and trade context in plain English.
2
Run a risk check
Type "Risk check" or tap the chip. JARVIS reviews your current position sizing and open trades to flag any over-exposure before you add another position.
3
Get a session outlook
Type "Session outlook" for a summary of what to expect in the current or upcoming session — based on dollar strength, market momentum, and session open behaviour.
4
Explain the last signal
Type "Explain last signal" to get a plain-English breakdown of the most recent trade setup the bot detected — why it qualified, what structure it was based on, and what the risk-reward was.
5
Read live signal cards
The centre column shows signal cards as the bot fires. Each card shows the pair, direction (BUY/SELL), structure context, stop loss and take profit levels, and tags (e.g. FVG, BOS, CHoCH). Use these to manually validate a trade before it executes.
6
Watch the session strip
Below the JARVIS header is a live session strip — Asia, London, New York. Each pill glows green when that session is active. The UTC clock in the header updates every second so you always know where the market is.
Tip
Quick-tap chips save time. The row of chips under the chat input — Best pair now?, Risk check, Session outlook, Market sentiment, Explain last signal — send that query instantly without typing. Use them at the start of each session to get a fast market read.
Sync
JARVIS syncs with the running bot. When the Advanced AI Bot is active, JARVIS receives the same signal data used to place trades. The bot sync banner at the top of the Performance Screen confirms the connection and updates P&L every 3 seconds.
Monitoring
Monitoring Your Trades
EntraFX gives you two ways to track your bot's performance — the Dashboard (all members) and the Performance Screen (Elite members).
Dashboard (All Members)
The Dashboard is accessible from the member area sidebar under Tools → Dashboard or directly at /app/dashboard.html. Once your EA is connected, it displays:
Total P&L
Net profit or loss across all bot-executed trades for the current session.
Win Rate
Percentage of winning trades shown as a live ring chart with win/loss counts.
Trade Log
Every trade placed by the bot — entry, direction, lot size, and result.
Account Balance
Live balance and equity pulled directly from your MT5 connection.
1
Enter your EA server address
At the top of the Dashboard, enter http://127.0.0.1:5000 in the EA Server field (default) and click Connect EA. This links the dashboard to your running bot instance.
2
Watch the KPI cards populate
Total P&L, win rate, total trades, signals, and executed order counts all update in real time.
3
Click Refresh to force an update
Use the ↻ Refresh button if you want to pull the latest data immediately without waiting for the automated cycle.
Performance Screen (Elite Only)
The Performance Screen is accessible from the Elite member area sidebar under Tools → Performance Screen. It gives you a complete picture of your trading month — powered by live data from the Advanced AI Bot.
1
View My Day tab
Shows the current month calendar with each day coloured by P&L. Today's date is highlighted. Future days are dimmed. The right column shows net P&L, win rate, profit factor, and daily breakdown.
2
Navigate months
Use the left/right arrow buttons beside the month heading to move between months. Click This Month to jump back to the current month.
3
JARVIS tab
Switch to JARVIS using the header toggle button. The full three-panel AI interface will load — chat on the left, live scanner in the centre, news and capabilities on the right.
4
Bot sync banner
When the Advanced AI Bot is running, a banner at the top of the Performance Screen shows the live connection status and syncs session P&L automatically every 3 seconds.
Tip
Charts update automatically. The cumulative P&L chart, yearly bar chart, trade time scatter, and Zella radar all populate as the bot records trades. At the start of a new month they reset cleanly — no stale data.

Tips & Safety
✓
Start on a demo account
Run the bot on a broker demo account first. Once you're confident in the strategy behaviour and results, switch to live with a small lot size.
✓
Use a low lot size initially
Start at 0.01 lots. The FVG strategy uses a 1:2 risk-reward — your stop loss is placed at the prior swing, so lot size directly controls your risk per trade.
✓
Keep MetaTrader 5 open
The bot requires MT5 to be running and logged in on your PC (or VPS). If MT5 closes, the connection is lost and no new trades will be placed.
✓
Use a VPS for 24/7 running
For uninterrupted trading, run MetaTrader 5 on a Windows VPS (Virtual Private Server). This keeps the bot live even when your PC is off.
✓
Check the System Log regularly
The log in the Entra Bot / Advanced AI Bot shows exactly what the bot is doing. If you see repeated errors, check your MT5 connection and AutoTrading status.
✓
Never share your MT5 password
Your credentials are used only to connect locally via MetaTrader 5's official API. EntraFX never stores or transmits your broker password.
!
Trading involves risk. Automated strategies do not guarantee profit. Always trade with capital you can afford to lose, use proper risk management, and review open positions regularly.
